Access the Catalog: Navigate to Procurement → Marketplace.

Select a Category: Click on the supplier name if you know them or you can click on category to see all the suppliers offering products in that category for your region. For example, in Europe, the Packaging category shows three different suppliers — each with their inventory available at a pre-negotiated price. The suppliers available and their rates may differ by region.

Choose a Supplier & Product: Browse the supplier options and consider factors like delivery times, shipping location, and pricing to choose the best fit for your needs. Your onboarding manager can also make personalised recommendations based on your product categories — don't hesitate to ask them.

Placing an Order: Click on the supplier you want to order from. You will see their full product list. Enter the quantity for the items you need. As you type, the pallet count updates dynamically — so you can see exactly how many pallets your order represents. Use this to plan and optimise your shipping costs before adding to cart.

Manage Shipping: On the checkout screen you will be asked to choose how the order is shipped. You have two options:

Supplier Shipping: Let the supplier arrange and manage delivery to your location.

Integrated Freight Provider: GCP integrates with freight providers in each region (for example, Cargo Board in Europe and GLB in US). A real-time shipping quote is shown and is often cheaper than the supplier's own shipping rate. Select this option to take advantage of the better rate.

Track & Manage Orders: Fulfillment is automated. Track your order status directly on the platform or via the Gelato mobile app, and contact suppliers if needed.
