[GC Apparel] How to Get Impositions Not Delivered to SFTP

R
Written by Roman Aldunate

When imposition files fail to reach your SFTP, you can still retrieve them directly from the workflow activity in GelatoConnect. This ensures you don’t lose access to critical data and can quickly recover, adjust, and reprocess the workflow if needed.

Accessing imposition files from workflow activities

If your imposition files were not delivered to your SFTP as expected, follow these steps to retrieve them manually:

  1. Go to the workflow activity where you expected the imposition to run.

  2. Open the activity details and check the sections for Data In and Data Out.

  3. If the imposition did not reach your SFTP, select the available option to download the file directly. The file will download to your local machine, giving you access to the raw input that should have been sent to SFTP.

This method allows you to recover files immediately, even when execution errors prevent automatic delivery.

Fixing and reprocessing the workflow

After retrieving the missing files, take the following actions to correct and complete the process:

  • Apply necessary fixes to the workflow to resolve the issue.

  • Publish the updated workflow version.

  • If you need the files to be sent to your SFTP, rerun or reprocess the workflow after applying the fix.

This ensures that both your workflow and your SFTP contain the expected output files.
